Long time no blog I know... It was a bit busy here getting things ready for being away - it was after all my first Convention and the first time away from hubby and the kids.
To cut a long story short, Mum and I had a great time in Brisbane, met lots of lovely Stampin' Up! demonstrators, staff from Australia and New Zealand's head office and of course just a few special guests from Stampin' Up! Utah, including the one who started it all - Shelli Gardner.
Ok, here comes some photos...
Day 1
Waiting for Convention to start! |
Yes I'm here!!! For the first time ever, and it's only taken me 6yrs of being a demonstrator |
Opening Act - these drummers were pretty amazing and got our blood pumping... |
Shelli Gardner! |
Aaron Scott and I - Aaron is the head honcho for SU here in Australia |
So yes, we had a photo with Ronald.... |
Now, here's a few sneak peeks at some samples that another demo (Donna Williams - she's in the process of creating a blog so I cannot link to anything just yet) had created - it was a wonderful display in an old printing press tray, drew loads and loads of compliments!
How's this for a-may-zing!!
Good enough to eat!! This cake looked awesome - but I don't know who created it |
Sample board for the Colour Refresh - the new colour familes!
Ok, bored of Convention photos, well there's lots more news...
- The 2012-2013 Retiring list has been released - you can find it all online here
- New "Best of..." Stamp sets are being released in June
- New "Single Stamps" are also being released in June - these will come only in Clear mount
I'll have more Convention photos and more on these great new promotions soon.
If you have any queries, please remember to leave a comment or send an email to me. Also if you would like to pre-order your 2013-2014 Stampin' Up! Catalogue, please send me an email so we can arrange it.
Thanks for looking,
Edit: I have found out tonight that Donna Williams was the creative genius behind all these samples!! Isn't she just soooo incredibly talented! Isn't the land of facebook a wonderful place, without my ESAD group I wouldn't have known who made these creations and I love to be able to credit people where it's required for their work and their generosity of sharing what they love!
