Gee whizz! I scrapbooked!

Hi Everyone,

Here's a couple of scrapbooking page layouts I did a couple of weeks ago... I'd been holding off showing you as I was going to print off some pics for them, but seeing as I haven't got there and I've been super quiet again on my blog I thought I'd better show you the layouts instead.

This first one is a case from Amanda, we spent the day together and each did some scrapbooking whilst our 2 youngest girls (who are the same age) played together... I did changed it around a little and used some different papers from the Big Top Designer Series Paper.

The centre yellow panel is large enough to fit a 5x7" photo, and I may add some bunting with my Pennant Punch for the title to be added to.

This page is using the Sale-a-bration papers and a colour a rarely use - Always Artichoke! Definitely not one of 'my colours' but I think it worked really well for this layout.
This layout will fit one 6x4" photo and I will add some journaling of course, once the photo is printed and I decide what to write, and change my hand so I can write neatly!!

Scrapping my friends.....

Haha, bet that made you look twice.... I have 'scrapped' my friends into a scrapbooking page as another Unconvention challenge.

This challenge was by SheryleeTutt, a demo in Karratha. We needed to use punch art on our page... somehow and somewhere... Now like scrapbooking, I don't really do much punch art either so I had to google some ideas...

I found this flower on Julia Betten's site along with a couple of other ideas for future pages.

And this is what I did:

My "flowers" were made with the rounded tab, 1 3/8" circle, 1 1/4" circle and scallop circle punches. The oval leaves were freehand as I'm yet to add the oval punches to my collection.

I'm slowly building up my scrapbook.. And there's more pages to come later in the week....

I've done it again...

Hi Everyone,

Holy MolyI've done it again.... That is, I've done a scrapbook page again!! Yay for me!! And that's 2 less loose photos floating around my tv unit within a couple of days! I might even fill an album before Christmas if I keep this up and declutter my tv unit! Lol!!

And do you notice anything different? I've taken this photo outside! I sooo often photograph my projects late at night under my halogen or fluoro desk lamps, but I am always inspired by those who take their photos outside. The colours turn out fabulously!

Wow - I've scrapbooked!

Hi Everyone,

Ok, now that you have got back onto your chair after the shock of reading that I've done a scrapbook page, you can actually see the result:

I don't do much scrapbooking as I have always thought it too overwhelming and time consuming... But like lots of things, it's only what you make it! So I saw the challenge on the Stamp a Memory site, and I thought I would try it as my 2nd child is nearly 2yo and I've not done anything for their albums!!

The Challenge is to:

Create a baby orientated page in non traditional baby colours,

(so not heaps of pastel pink or blue)

I might add some journalling at a later stage, but I'm happy with this layout I made with no guide or layouts to case and the big plus was it didn't take me very long!

Materials Used:
Simply Scrappin' Kit Petal Party - Textured Old Olive Card, So Saffron Card, assorted Flower & Leaves Stickers, Designer Paper
Pumpkin Pie Card
Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon
Scalloped Edge Punch
Bright Delight Rub-on's "Delight" Sentiment
