Practicing a new technique!

Look what I tried! I'm quite impressed with the fact that I've watercoloured the rose and tried a scalloped circle easel card!

Be prepared for a lot more easel cards in the near future, I love the effect, don't you!!

Bird Punch (just for the leaves)

Obviously another 'pink' day in our house lol.... but don't worry the masculine cards for Friday night's class are in progress and I'm pretty happy with them too :)

Inkspirations Challenge #52

Hi Everyone,

I'm really lacking some mojo today... It's taken me an hour to make this card in amongst helping Miss 4 with her stamping. I think I have a recruit in the making here - or at the very least an assistant for my classes ~ her enthusiasm and mass stamping efforts have been quite impressive this arvo lol!!

My card today is for the Inkspirations Challenge #52, where we needed to use these colours:

I coloured some whisper white grosgrain ribbon with a sponge and my baja breeze ink pad.

Let me know what you think anyway... I'm undecided on it! :P

Recent Workshop Results

Well, this time it's the cards from my Mum's workshop back in May.


Everyone made 2 cards and this is one of them...

It was a great card to make and didn't take very long.

Hi Everyone,


I've been undecided about whether I like these cards or not this week... Actually I've been undecided about a lot of things this week and as a result not much has been done! Anyway, I'll just put it down to having a little less sleep than usual and not much stamping time.


So here's my 2 cards:

This one uses the Boho blossoms punch which is available until Tuesday for $20.12 as part of the deals of the week promotion running throughout June.

And I've watercoloured 2 roses from Fifth Ave Floral for this card with Pink Passion ink.


Well that's it from me today.... Off to play with my girls and then hopefully my brand spanking new Bigshot that arrived during the week - its very good fun so far and I'll have something finished to show you in the next few days!!

Fifth Ave Floral Newlyweds

Hi Everyone,

Do you remember my ESAD blog hop project where I swirled the ink pad over some gloss cardstock to make a swirly background? If not, click here to go have a look... Otherwise scroll down and you'll see my next project using a similar technique.

Well for this card, I've inked my flower with Not Quite Navy ink and swirled it on gloss card stock. Then sponged around with some Basic Grey ink (and I'm glad I hesitated and choose grey instead of black, I think that would have been too heavy). I've added a little Not Quite Navy sponging.

The sentiment has been stamped on white gloss card, punched out with my word window punch and layered onto some black card. And the brads are the smallest size of the Rhinestone brads.
