A couple of pirate ships for yarrrr!

Hi All,

Well, you would think I would have done a load of crafting whilst I've had bad internet connections over the last 10days or so.... but nup, sadly I didn't :(

I've been sorting out more stuff in the old craft room.... Gee it takes a long time with 2 pint sized helpers! All they wanna do is use mummy's stamps (and that's all I wanna do too but it doesn't always work that way)!! So it's very slow progress!

Anyway, now that my internet appears to be working again, I do have a few things to show you.. In the clean up I found some of these pirate ship images ready stamped and awaiting to be coloured...

The ships are from the retired 'ahoy matey' stamp set, the papers from my stash, the card stock colours are  mellow moss, ruby red, not quite navy, baja breeze and river rock.

Ok, enough of my rambling, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and to those in WA, enjoy your long weekend!

Thanks for looking,

Hi Everyone,

My latest card to show you is one of several I'm making to donate to Crafty Mumma's Supporting Men's Health.

I thought I'd make some mens' cards as it's something many of us card makers struggle with! I dug out my "Bareback" stamp set (retired) and made this card:

I've used my crimper to create the textured strips of card, I simply ran the card through at 2 different angles.

If you're in WA, enjoy the long wkend!! I have a list of things to do about a mile and a half long, nearly all of which is going to be delayed this morning as I'm off to visit my parents and one of my grandparents who came out of hospital yessterday.

Thanks for looking,

Yay I had stamping time today!!

Hi Everyone,

I was pretty happy today as I managed to sit down and do some stamping! Ahhh it was much needed!

But the issue was what to stamp? I had some free time yesterday and chose to watch the "Twilight" movie instead. I hadn't seen any of the movies however I had read all the books last year. And I also need to add that my imagination created a way better Edward! Sorry to any 'movie Edward' fans...

Well onto my search for some mojo... I decided to visit a couple of challenge blogs that I like and decided to start with the Clean and Simple Sketch # 127

This card came together really quickly!! And you can see I've really really stuck to the sketch - ie: button in the sketch, button on my card lol :)

This card also fits with a request for some unisex b'day cards at my next class (March 11th for anyone who's interested), so you may see some different versions of it over the coming weeks whilst I play around and work out the class. All the class details can be found here on my facebook page.

Well I'll be back over the weekend to show off the other cards :)

Thanks for looking,
