Finally a card...

Hi Everyone,

As promised I'm back today with a card to show you, I'm on a new years resolution to use up some more scraps of paper and card, and some of the many stamped images I have lying around :)

I coloured this flower yesterday with my Riding Hood Red, Barely Banana (retired) and Wild Wasabi Inkpads. Then I ran it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

The black 'stitching' has been paper pierced and then drawn on freehand with my Black Stampin' Write Markers.

And I just love my antique brad pinning down a little bit of white ribbon!!

JAI #16's third entry....

mmmmm I entirely blame the extended holiday my cardmaking mojo seemed to have add lately for the explosion in posts tonight... Well that and another fab challenge from the team over at JAI...


So this is my 3rd and final entry for the Just Add Ink Challenge #16

Ok that's it from me! My hands are semi frozen and I'm sitting with a blanket over my knees and a scarf on! Such a Nanna!! So on that note, I'm signing off and I'll be back later this week with more to show you! Night, Night!

ps: I hope all the mums (and mummies to be) out there in blogland had a fabulous Mother's Day. I received a new purse and a small black clutch from my girls... Funny how they knew exactly what to get me! And also a couple of cards and a small box DD3 decorated at Kindy - Aww my first mother's day pressie from school
  

Just Add Ink Challenge #16 - 2nd Entry

Guess who!! Yep, I'm back with my 2nd entry for this weeks Just Add Ink Challenge #16

What do you think? I was pretty happy with my attempts at watercolouring for these cards, once again I used my Aqua Painter. And I'm pretty happy to have inked up the Echoes of Kindness Stamp Set. The only thing I wasn't too impressed with was the slight breeze that kept tipping my card over whilst I was trying to photograph it outside today! ggrrrr!

Just Add Ink Challenge #16

Hi Everyone,


I have a couple of posts for you tonight! My card making mojo seems to be back! Yay! I've got a couple of cards to show you that were inspired by the Just Add Ink Challenge #16 (I think I've only missed a couple of them too! Go my new years resolution! lol)


The challenge was to use these colours:

And I've combined it with Makeesha's Inkspiration Challenge which can be found on Renee's site, a member of Keesha's Design Team,  due to a few tech problems that Keesh is having with her computer.

Here's my first card tonight:

I was probably a little too excited to see "Soft Suede" in a challenge- I bought a pack of this new In-Colour and have hardly touched it because I just couldn't decide what to do with it!! I'm so happy with my cards and that's why I've done more than 1 entry for JAI this week and I'll be back soon with the 2nd entry.
