Yep, another Kimono Kid

Hi All,

Yep, I'm sorry, here's another card with a Kimono Kid stamp! Don't worry, I only stamped about a dozen of them so I will run out of the to colour and use soon.... hehhehe

Well, this ribbon I've had for so long in my stash... I'm a real ribbon hoarder and bought a pack of asian inspired ribbons that I've never used! They are even self adhesive, so all I need to do is cut, peel and stick - pretty lazy of me hey!

Ok, enough chitchat, I bet you'd really like to see my card by now so here it is:

Extra detail has been added with the Polka Dot embossing folder and my Big Shot, the background stamp 'Medallion', and the corner rounder punch.

And to avoid it being so long between posts, I'm setting up some scheduled posts of some of the cards I've made lately... There's not as many as I'd like but then, who really has all the time they would like for stamping, crafting or any other hobby... lol :)

One of Makeesha's Challenges

Hi Everyone,

Yep, I've been at it again, another Kimono Kids card to share with you.

This time, I took my inspiration from Makeesha's Challenge #45 which you can see here.

I've taken the sketch and flipped it 180degrees to make this card:

My apologies the photo is not the best - the weather is being a little crazy and it's been cold and windy today with just a hint of rain. So I took this inside near a window, but it's just not the same.....

Ah well, to brighten this semi-wintery day, I have received some Stampin' Up! goodies including some shimmer paint (ooooo very nice) and the new In-Color pack. The new pack contains all the new inkpads and an assorted cardstock pack for just $56.95 so its a bargain buy!

Soft and pastel with Just Add Ink's 40th Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Last night I found some cardmaking mojo and managed to make a few cards I'll show over the next few days....

Each card is for a different challenge and that's why I'm going to space them out.

So this card for the the Just Add Ink Challenge #40 - I can't believe they are up to #40 already!!

We needed to use these colours:

And this is my card:

I've used one of the girl images from "Kimono Kids" and I have to confess my 'Pear Pizzazz' card is still on order so I have substituted with 'Certainly Celery'.

Please let me know what you think and if you would like to join in the challenge, you have until midnite  Wednesday (but remember that's Eastern time + daylight savings, so if you are in Perth, you have until 9pm tomorrow night).
