Christmas in July Class

Hi Everyone,

Two posts in one day! Wow! Don't fall off your seat will you!

Here's the pics from my Christmas in July Stamp and Stack class from Friday night...

2 Versions of the same card - what a difference changing the ribbon and sentiment placement can make... And using 2 different embossing folders - Square Lattice & Polka Dots

Clean and simple Christmas

If you are interested in joining in the fun of my next class its on 12th August. We'll be making Spring themed birthday cards. Please email me to find out more or visit my facebook page.

Edited to add that the ornament card was cased from Nicki Turner after a training day last year :)

May's Class...

Hi Everyone,

My class back in May was all about the kids, and as such we made 4 different cards and co-ordinating boxes.

This is the first set:

This is the second (using the same layout and box design):

These cards were inspired by this link and the boxes are from my easter choccy basket as seen here.

This is the third set:

And this is the fourth set:

These boxes were made following this peek-a-boo box tutorial and you can see another version I made here.

If you would like to know more about any of these cards and boxes, please email me or leave a comment with your email address below.

What did we make at the March Class?

Hi Everyone,

Well, this is a quick post to show what we made at my March class on Friday night. The theme was birthdays, but a couple of the sentiments are generic and could be used for other occassions such as an engagement or baby shower (which is what a couple of people are going to do).

"Inset embossing" with the 1/2", 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches and the square lattice and polka dot embossin folders
Colours: Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Garden Green Wild Wasabi, Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Whisper White

Baroque Motifs Stamp Set with the Butterfly punch
Colours: Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Rose Red, Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze

Classic Stars Jumbo Wheel with Black Staz-on ink on glossy paper
Colours: Pacific Point, Green Galore (retired), Pink Passion (retired)

If you'd like to find out more about these cards or maybe to make some for yourself, please email me or leave a comment below.

Stamp and Stack December - The Results

Hi Everyone,

Last Friday night was my final Stamp and Stack class for 2010. I would to thank everyone who has been coming to my classes and making them such a fun time!

Here's some pics of what we made:

Card #1:
I love this Dasher Stamp
(one of the a la carte range and it's only $14.95)

Here's a close up of the self adhesive rhinestone jewels

This card used the retired stamp set "Merry Mini's".

A close up of the added detail with the faux suede ribbon folded 3 times and 'held' in place with a self adhesive pearl.

We made 2 of these boxes, all the papers were from the Jolly Holiday paper pack. I found the instructions for this acetate box on Splitcoast Stampers. Then of course, we needed something to fill up our little boxes, and that's where some jumbo sized boxes of Cadbury Favorites came in super handy (we had to sample some too on the night but you didn't hear that from me!)

All the colours are based on the Jolly Holiday Designer Series paper, so we have Old Olive, Riding Hood Red (as I don't have any Cherry Cobbler yet) & Very Vanilla.

If you have any questions, please ask! I'm only too happy to help out! :)

And I have some exciting news:
1)I will be having my 2nd ever craft stall at The Glades Markets in Byford, WA on Sat 18th Dec. Make sure you say hello if you are there!!
2) Due to the success of my Stamp and Stack Classes during 2010, I will be continuing them throughout 2011. So pencil Friday 14th Jan in your diary and I'll provide the details soon.

Stamp and Stack October Results

Hi Everyone,

Last night I held my monthly Stamp and Stack class. These are the 3 designs and everyone made 3 of each card.

The photos aren't superb as everytime I went to take a photo today, a gust of wind would come and blow the cards over. Thank heavens for digital photography, otherwise I would have wasted a lot of film!
