Come and join in the ESAD Autumn/Winter Mini Catty Blog Hop

Hi Everyone,

Today is the day for the ESAD Blog Hop for the new Mini Catty!! I'm excited to be sharing my "Eat Chocolate" creation with you and there's also a little something for you too! :)

So settle back and prepare to taste a little of the creative world of Stampin' Up! here in Australia and New Zealand.

You may be just starting your hop or you may have come from Kim's blog, so you may or may not have already seen the explanation:

What is ESAD?
ESAD stands for Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators and it is an online group just for Australian and New Zealand demonstrators for Stampin’ Up!

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors but we share our love for what we do with each other as Demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and cyberstamps and we are always there to help and support each other when its needed.

So if you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click
here to join our wonderful group.

Now, onto my creations:

My clean and simple card:
Don't you love the sentiment ~ "I would give up chocolate, but I'm no quitter!"
I've cut the sentiment and the backing chocolate chip card stock by freehand so don't look too closely lol :)

And my "piece da resistance":

My Easter Choccy Box:

This is a box that I have designed myself. I have also made my own patterned card stock by stamping the "So much chocolate so little time!" sentiment randomly all over my very vanilla card stock. And of course, I have to use chocolate chip ink and chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon.

You can see some more samples made with Designer Series Paper here that I had ready for Easter on this previous post. If anyone is interested in re-creating this box, please email me as I am in the process of writing a tutorial for you and would love to email it to you.

The next stop on the blog hop is Kayleigh's blog.

In summary, there's 16 demonstrator's taking part and here's the entire list for you.... Everyone has a link from & to each blog so you can easily hop from one to the next and do a 'blog lap' at your leisure. If you can make the time to leave a comment for each or even some, I know we would all love to hear from you!

What the Easter Bunny brought...

Hi Everyone,

Thought you may like to see the little bunny baskets that the Easter Bunny (aka me) delivered to our house on the wkend.

He also delivered one for my nephew, but this person I know (aka me again) forgot to take a pic of it before it was delivered.

And there just may be more details posted about these baskets on Saturday when I take part in the ESAD Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue Blog Hop.... So make sure you come round and have a looksie :)

Hi Everyone,

It's been a long time since I've taken part in a Just Add Ink Challenge but here's a quick post with this week's challenge to "Just Add Mateship/ Friendship".

There's a mixture of old and new Stampin' Up! Products used and a touch of contraband product, (I used my nest-a-bilities for the plain and scalloped ovals).

But it does showcase how verstaile the Big Shot is! The square lattice embossing folder has been used for the background. The Beautiful Wings embosslits die for the butterflies - this cuts 5 butterflies in 1 go! And yes, the nesties went through the Big Shot too!

Making it early (for once)

Hi Everyone,

I thought I'd share some Mother's Day cards I had on my stall on Saturday just gone.

These were one-offs using up some odd flowers I had ready and waiting.

Each of these flower layers has the faux suede effect

Whoops didn't realise my scrunched flower was a bit flat for the photo

A new fav colour combo! Bashful blue, rose red and whisper white

All these cards will be finding a new home very soon.... wonder if it will be at your place?

If you would like a special one-off Mother's Day card or a card for any other ocassion, please let me know, I'd love to help out.

And I'll have to make more cards for my own mum and mother in law! Well, after I make some Easter cards of course for Sunday.

I designed my own Easter Basket!

Hi Everyone,

Last week, whilst preparing for the Glades Markets in Byford, I designed my own Easter Basket! Now not to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty impressed with myself.

It came about after making a little bag that Gardenia Pepworth had on her blog, and as I sat there looking at it, the mouse in my head jumped on it's turbo wheel and voila! This is my basket!!

This is my prototype!

And these are a couple of extras I made:

These and more are all available for purchase from my album on facebook:
https://www.facebook.com/StampinWithRichelle?ref=ts#!/media/set/fbx/?set=a.10150238417075609.373220.419381570608. But once they are gone that's it in that colour!

Please 'like' my facebook page if you haven't already :)

Oh and I'm going to write up a tutorial for you to make your own so stay tuned over the coming days!

Easter Bunny Cards

Hi Everyone,

Last night I sat down in my "new office" and made some cards. I was a bit worried that my mojo had taken a hike and got lost but thankfully I found some inspiration and made these cards...

Ok, so I cheated a little, they are all the same layout but I always find it amazing how different a card looks by simply changing 1 colour. I also did some different embossing with my Big Shot and the Polka Dot  Square Lattice Embossing folders.

Under renovations

Hi Everyone,

No, I haven't disappeared, though it was a threat over the weekend with all the changes we are making around our house. Furniture is being moved left, right and centre! All for the best we hope!! With the biggest change being the removal of tv in the family room! This could be very ummm shall we say interesting. It's an effort to cut down tv time for all of our family and increase the quality time we spend together as a family. As a bonus, it means the loungeroom has been changed into our home office and the spare room will return to being a spare room (well once all the junk that we've dumped there has been sorted and tidied.. I'll take some pics and show off the new setup when it's ready :)

Anyway, I will be back later in the week to show off some goodies I'm making for The Glades Markets in Byford this Saturday night.
