Social Stamping with Kelly

Hi Everyone,

The ever so lovely Kelly Kent has put the word out for stamping friends from far and wide to join in and all post "Hello" themed blog today and do a little 'Social Stamping'. Isn't that an awesome idea to share some hellos and happiness in this crazy and unprecedented time we are currently experiencing!?!

I've whipped up a quick set of cards to send out to friends this week.

I wanted to keep these cards easy and quick, I even used up some pre-cut card bases! And I worked with the 2018-2020 In Colors of Blueberry Bushel, Lovely Lipstick, Call Me Clover, Grapefruit Grove & Pineapple Punch and of course, Whisper White. I added a few retired candy dots for the centres.


This is a little different to other blog hops I've participated in as we aren't all linked to each other just yet, you will need to click on each person's website from Kelly's master list!

More Goodbye cards

Hi Everyone,

It may seem like I make a lot of goodbye cards, but in all honesty, it's just a fraction of the cards I make, it's just that I remember to photograph and blog these ones!

So here's a few recent cards for work colleagues:

Whisper white, shimmery white & Mint Macaron cardstock/ink

Whisper white, crumb cake, granny apple green and daffodil delight cardstock
Versamark & Stazon ink

These are both A5 cards, which is twice the size of my standard cards. It means there's plenty of room inside for messages from everyone at work.

Stampin' Up!'s Mini & SAB catalogues

Hi everyone,

Here's a quick run down of what you need to know about Stampin' Up! Mini & Sale-a-bration Catalogoues.

The Mini Catalogue runs from 3rd January to 2nd June 2020 and is full of new products - that means new stamps, paper, kits and more!! It has to be one of the most impressive mini catalogues I've seen, my wishlist is pretty much the whole catalogue!

Sale-a-bration runs from 3rd January to 31st March and during this time you can earn FREE Sale-a-bration (SAB) products for every $90 you spend. There's also bonuses available to hosting a party (or perhaps just placing a large enough order!)

ESAD 2020 Mini Catalogue and Sale-a-bration Blog Hop

Hi Everyone,

Just Add Ink Challenge #478

Hi Everyone,

I've made a card! Ok, I hope you didn't fall off your seat! I've been busy getting ready for our fundraising event, the start of term 4, working stocktake and I went to a intro to yoga class tonight! I got into my craftroom last night and tonight I'm blogging what I've made!


I saw the Just Add Ink Challenge and thought it would be a great way to get back into the challenge/blogging thing - this challenge is to Just Add "H", so I decided to add "Hoot, Hoot, Hooray"

Here's my card for the challenge:

Just Add Hoot Hoot Hooray!
Crumb Cake, Early Expresso and Shimmery White Cardstock were used plus Crumb Cake ink and an aqua painter.
The sentiment has been stamped using the Craft White ink.

A close up to see the texture of the background layer - this was achieved by stamping Crumb Cake owls onto Crumb Cake card and running it through the Subtle Embossing folder twice (turning it 90degrees between each run).
 You can kind of see the shimmery white cardstock used for the main owl too!

And here's a couple of extras using some of my scraps stash - these are the same basic components for each card, I just tweaked the layout a little.

Mixing up the colours and adding Balmy Blue and the retired Dapper Denim cardstock.
The Background is been embossed with the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder
