Stamp 'n' Stack June Projects

Hi Everyone,

These are the 3 cards we made for the June Stamp 'n' Stack (SAS) last night. It was all about the kids! And thanks to the ladies that came, it was a night full of chattering, laughs and giggles!

I cased myself here... I originally posted this card here but thought it was perfect for a boys or girls card.

For this card we used the "Pony Party" Stamp set from the Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue. I chose this stamp set as a reward from Stampin' Up! from my Sale-a-bration sales earlier this year... I've also used my new Top Note die and Big Shot (sooooo LOVING my Big Shot at the mo!)

And the last card used a retired stamp set "Pocket Fun" but I thought it would be great for boys! What boy wouldn't love a frog in his pocket! Thankfully this is a lot more easy care than a real frog!

If you are interested in making any of these cards, simply arrange a time, invite a few friends and voila, you will have a handful of kids' cards at the ready!

January News

SmileyCentral.com

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year to everyone that I haven't seen and all my blogging friends! I hope you had a great time over the festive season cos we sure did. Mind you, I'm really enjoying the quiet at the moment with our January calendar a lot emptier!

Anyway, this is just an update on some things that are currently happening with Stampin' Up...

Firstly, there is the Inventory Clearance Sale which is running until 24 January, 2010 you’ll get amazing discounts on select, high-quality Stampin’ Up! products with no minimum purchase, and no limits to how many you buy! NOTE: These prices are only available whilst stocks last.

Secondly, on 25th January, SALE-A-BRATION starts! This is a great time to stock up on all your Stampin' Up supplies as you can earn free stamp sets! And if you host a workshop with $600 in sales, you can earn even more free stamp sets! YAY!!!! If you live in the Perth metro area, contact me today to book your workshop! However, don't panic, if you don't live in the metro area, but are still somewhere in Australia.... You can still have a workshop, its all just via the catalogue and shipping is just $5.95 (for orders under $120) or 5% of each order over $121.

And thirdly, some of you keen stampers and scrapbookers may have heard about a product called the Big Shot. This is a Sizziz Big Shot Die-Cut Machine that can create die cuts with any our exclusive Stampin’ Up! dies—or any Sizzix® die. This is be available through Stampin' Up with the release of our Autumn Mini Catalogue (1st April and not its not an early April Fool's day joke). Unfortunately, I don't have the pricing yet, but fingers crossed, I'll be able to provide some sneak peeks closer to the release date.

Ok, that's it from me for now... I'll try and be back later on with some photos of some cards I'm making and I'm going to hopefully do some more stamping today with my new stamps from the summer mini catty! Can you cross your fingers for me? lol

Stamp 'n' Stack Results

Hi Everyone! Merry Christmas!!! But pheww, as much as I love Christmas, I sure was glad to sit back and relax today! Time has been flying past in the lead up to Christmas so I was very grateful to hardly do a thing all day today.... lol - I even managed to have a sleep-in as the girls were up late last nite at my family xmas dinner and that was after a big lunch at our house for my hubby's family,so they were extremely tired girls today but thankfully only slightly grumpy.

In my quiet day, I realised today that I haven't posted either of the projects from the Stamp 'n' Stack in November or the recent December SAS.... Ooops! :P So here's 2 quick pics of the 2 projects:

Stamp 'n' Stack November
We used the 'Spotlight on Christmas' Stamp Set, scallop cirle punch, scallop square punch (it was my brand new toy!), 2 circle punches, 1 square punch, crimper, dimensionals. And I must say a big thank you to my sideline demonstrator Andrea as I cased her Christmas card layouts and borrowed her stamp set! So a BIG BIG Thank you!

Stamp 'n' December
We used the 'I wish' scrapbooking kit and not a single stamp was used! The album was designed by Andrea Walford, an extremely talented Canadian Stampin' Up Demonstrator. This was my first time teaching something other than a card or a box, so I thank my ladies for being so patient with me on the day. The album on the left was my original and the one on the right is what I made on the day.

If you like this album, I'm going to do another class but with a Mother's Day theme around March-April next year, so don't forget to check back to see when the class is scheduled. I received a new diary from my MIL so will work out my Class Calender soon and post all the details!!

Stamp 'n' Stack September

Hi Everyone,

Here's a pic of the 2 cards made at my Stamp 'n' Stack September. I've used the "Tree Trimmings" Stamp set from the Spring Mini Catty (avail until Nov 30th).

The centre bauble in Red has been stamped on a seperate piece of card, cut out and adhered with a pop out glue dot or a dimensional.
Card Stock: Garden Green & Very Vanilla
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Garden Green and Basic Black
Ribbon: Vanilla grosgrain

For this card, we sponged the Whisper White Craft Ink over a piece of Real Red for a frosted look to add a bit extra to the card.
