Some cyberspace thank you's! (better late than never isn't it) & My ESAD SS gifts from Aug - Oct

Hi All,

I'm back!! Don't fall over with 2 posts in 1 night from me after I've been sooo slack lately! Tonight's extra post is because I've been flicking back through my blog and realised that there's a few entries that didn't get posted for whatever reason.... So I'm going to combine a stack of things in this post and try to keep it short as I can...

First off is some thank you's!! Here's goes:
  1. Shirley McAvoy - thank you for you delightful gifttags I received some time ago in the mail! What a lovely ESAD RAK (random act of kindness)

   2.    Lee-Anne Barry sent me a Best Blog Friends Forever Award and I am yet to forward it on to blogs I stalk read. It was started by the lovely Andrea Lowcock.

    3.    To Amanda Reddicliffe, thank you for the rhinestone jewel and pearls I won as part of your blog candy! I'm sure they will be a fav as soon as I get some decent time to myself to do some stamping!

    4.    Thank you to the ultra-sweet Tanya Kitto (a SU! Demo friend) who answered my question about where to find some lovely carols to download by sending me 3cd's full of carols! What a gem! There's nothing like great carols to put you in the festive spirit! {I'll have to update Tanya's blog link at a later stage as I can't find it right now :( }

Ok, onto some old stamping creations..... You may remember, I took part in a 2nd round of the ESAD Secret Sisters from August to October, and during my reminiscing I realised I hadn't posted any of what I made and sent off to my Secret Sister, Kerri... Here's a couple of snaps of some of the things I made for her.

Showcasing the new shimmer paint, scallop trim border punch, new thin whisper white ribbon, and the new Concord Crush cardstock (dark purple colour)

Notecard organiser - Made from designer series paper, the organiser is divided into sections inside  to store your notecards
(silly me seems to have forgotten to take a pic of this part)

Here's the notecards:

Can you see a fav design of mine? Just different colours to a card we did at this Stamp and Stack Class

This pouch was filled with some yummy choccies!

Of course this is only some of what I sent, I think I must have forgotten to photograph some of it or didn't want to make you drool over your computer too much with pics of chocolate and stamps etc that I sent to Kerri. But then again, maybe I lost some of the pics when I had that computer drama a few months ago and purchased a new computer....

Ok, that wasn't too long was it? I made the pics a little smaller than usual but you can click on them to see a larger version if needed.

Final Secret Sister Gift Sent

Hi Everyone,

Well I think this will be the last post about the ESAD Secret Sister gifts... For this round anyway... I've been fighting a cold this week, courtesy of my girls (wasn't that kind of them to share their bugs! NOT!!), so that's why I've been a little quiet on the 'creating' front.

These final pics are of the May gift I sent to Chantell Randall.

The card:
It's DL size - like a business envelope, rather than a standard A6 card
A close up of the card detail

The main gift:
The photo doesn't show it too well, but each letter was stamped, cut out and covered in crystal effects and dazzling diamonds.

A little extra - these parcels are made with the pillow box die and I filled them with dried lavender to smell really nice for Chantell's draw or shelf. (Definately making more of these so beware those I send gifts too lol)

And I also included the "Manhattan Flower" Embossing Folder which was on Chantell's wishlist.

Materials Used:
Big Shot & Pillow Box Die
Tea Party Designer Series Paper
White Grosgrain Ribbon
Cardstock: Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Dazzling Diamonds
Boho Blossoms, 1 1/4" square, large oval, scalloped square & butterfly punches
Rhinestone Brads
Black Ink

I'm off to bed for another early night so take care everyone and I'll be back over the weekend.

3rd and final Secret Sister Gift Received

Hi all,

May was the last month to send the ESAD Secret Sister gift... And we found out who had been sending us all the happy mail for the past 3 months!! Now like a lot of us, Fiona and I were both late posting our gifts to our Secret Sisters, and then I've taken a while to actually edit and post the photos of my gifts!

This is my final gift & card:

A close up of the card

And the contents of the gift box (from the back right corner)
My girls were super excited as the items with "C" and "E" on them were a tube of mini m&m's each! Plus they also received a parcel each from my mum who's been in England on holiday since May. And the other parcel with the "R" was a pack of malteasers - one of my absolute fav choccies!!

And my Secret Sister was Fiona Platzer... Here's a link to her blog, she makes some wonderful things so go have a looksie when you can!

Secret Sister April Gifts

Hi All,

Just some quick pics today of the cards and gifts I sent to Chantell Randall during April for the ESAD Secret Sister Swap....

Don't fall off your seat - I've done somepaper piercing in the top left corner for this card... As well as some colouring - I think I started to colour with my aqua painter then added detail with my stampin' write markers and white gel pen.

Brayering... Chantell was interested in seeing some cards with brayering.. mmm think some more practice is needed but loved the challenge

My first paper bead necklace...
It was boxed inside the baja breeze box in the background of the top pic.
The long skinny kraft package had a block of choccie inside - yum!!!

Please contact me if you'd like to know any of the materials used.

Thank you Secret Sister!

Hi All,

Look what I have been spoilt with this month!!! Its all from my ESAD (Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators) Secret Sister.

Alright, so in this photo the back present contains 3 sheets of chipboard owls and birds (which I have never ever used!!), the top left is the card (see below for a close-up photo), underneath is a block of chocolate (yummo!!!) in a beautiful gift box and to the right is a pillow box that had the earrings (which are hanging from the thick pink ribbon). WOW! Thank you so much to my Secret Sister and I really really really can't wait to find out who you are!!!!

Now I'm off to finish the gift for my Secret Sister (I've been very naughty and haven't sent it by the end of April!)

And I realised I didn't show you my 2nd April card so here's 2 quick pics:

Another Secret Sister Card...

Hi Everyone,

This card is from my ESAD Secret Sister... I didn't make it, though I think I'll be casing it!!

I love the use of the Designer Series Paper as the background of the card instead of a stamped image. And I rooolly troolly love the sentiment framed by the Hodgepodge Hardware!!

Thanks Secret Sister - Can't wait to find out who you are in May!!!

I wonder....

Hi All,

I'm wondering who my secret sister is.... As part of a demonstrator group ESAD that I a part of, we are running a secret sister swap over the next 3months.

This is the 1st card I received (I've been a slack blogger over the last week and its taken me too long to post a pic for you all to see)

Isn't it a purdy birdy!! Its from the "Always" Stamp set on page 95 of the Idea book and catalogue.

Anyway, I'm checking my letterbox everyday to see when I'll get my next lil pressie! I love getting happy mail!
